Developing a mentoring strategy starts with alignment with your most critical talent management and DEI initiatives. Learn how to complete an organizational assessment to understand your current state and future state objectives, develop a strong purpose statement to anchor mentoring to your organization, and complete a prioritized experience roadmap for effective implementation.
Designing the Right Program
Designing your unique mentoring program(s) to meet the most critical talent needs of the organization from the senior leadership perspective. We will walk through a Use Case and design a program together.
Planning a Successful Launch
Once your program is designed, planning for launch begins. Learn the steps to successfully launch your program. We will discuss Scheduling, Communications Planning, Promotional Materials, Mentor Recruitment Plans, and Program Training.
Guiding Participants through the Mentoring Journey
Participants need support along their mentoring journey. We will discuss how to provide the right training, tools, and resources at the right time and how to create a strong mentoring community.
Measuring your Program's Success
Measuring program effectiveness is important to understand the engagement with the program and whether or not it is delivering the desired outcomes. Learn how to measure the overall health and organizational impacts of your mentoring program.
Scaling your Mentoring Program
Ensure mentoring is accessible to all by scaling your program to include everyone in your organization. Learn some tips and tricks to scale without losing your sanity.

Leading the mentoring consultant team, Jodi has over 20 years of corporate experience and 5 years running mentoring programs. Prior to starting MentorStrat, she led a mentoring program for a FORTUNE® 50 company driving the strategy development and execution of the roadmap. In 2021, she helped secure a spot on Diversity Inc’s Top Companies for Mentoring List and was named Mentoring Champion of the Year by their mentor software partner.
Mary Schlegel
Learning & Development Lead
Mary has 8 years in Learning & Development leading Enterprise Programs on Global Talent Management teams and is an experienced mentoring consultant. Prior to teaming up with MentorStrat, she led a reverse diverse mentoring program for one of FORTUNE® Magazine’s 2021 ‘World’s Most Admired Companies', earning her the ChangeMaker of the Year award by their mentor software partner.
